Shopify Manual

We advise reading and familiarizing yourself with the Shopify Manual. It is an extremely well written and thorough guide to understanding the Shopify platform, written by Shopify themselves. It will help with understanding many aspects of the customization of your theme as well as using Shopify in general.

Orgafe Installation

It's too easy to install Orgafe. Please log in to your Shopify store and go to Store Online > Themes. Scroll to More themes area, click on Upload Theme button, the popop Upload appear, click to Choose File button and choose the orgafe-vxxx.zip file that included in purchase package download.

After installation a few second, it will appear in the righ area. Please click on Actions > Publish to active new theme.

Shopify Knowlegae Base

Before we begin customizing your store, we would like to notice that this section will help you to have some collections and products added and a blog article written. So if you already had an active store and you are just updating your design, you don't need to read this part. Otherwise, here are some links to help you to setup your new store:

Color

Please log in to your Shopify Dashboard and go to Store Online > Themes > Customize > Theme Settings tab > Colors

To change other color, please find and go to the Color setting that you want, then click in Color picker to set new color

Typography

Please log in to your Shopify store and go to Store Online > Themes > Customize > Theme Settings tab > Typography

Favicon

Please log in to your Shopify store and go to Store Online > Themes > Customize > Theme Settings tab > Header/Footer Layout > Favicon then upload your Favicon icon.

Slideshow Revolution

#

- In Sections listing, select Slideshow Revolution #

- To add new, click to # bottom button and select Slideshow Revolution in Slideshow group.

Settings include:

  • Layout settings: set full width section, input the spacing Top/Bottom value.
  • Section settings: Show on Desktop or Mobile, Auto mode, Slideshow image width and Height (make sure the value right with your uploaded image size).
  • Content area: listing all image slide.


Each Image slide include option to control the slide

  • Image background
  • Transition Effects: fade, box, slide, zoom, boxfade,...
  • Caption image and position (coordinates with image).

Please log in to your Shopify store and go to Store Online > Themes > Customize in view page, select Collection Pages

1. Sidebar - Related Collections

It will display collections listing.

There are 3 method to show collections listing:
  1. Auto get All Collections: it will show all collections in your site with Alphabet order and can not limit or re-oder.
  2. Static Navigation listing: it will show collections from the selected navigation (link list).
  3. Dynamic Navigation listing: it will show collections from a lot of navigation. You can set each collection have each link.

Explain for Dynamic Navigation listing (method #3): must set up navigation (link list) for each collection with syntax: Collection_handle:link_list

Edit Languages

Orgafe support Translate Editor of Shopify. Helps translate the site to language.

The package default support English only. If your shop is NOT English, you must go to Online Store > Themes > Action buton > Edit Languages to update the tranlate text, fix translate error and translate the site to your Language.
